What is the Difference???

“Open Water Scuba Diver”
Vs
“Scuba Diver”

There is a BIG difference between the two.  “Scuba Divers” have very minimal training and can only dive under the Direct Supervision of a Professional Dive Master or Instructor to a maximum depth of 40 feet. “Open Water Divers” can plan and execute dives with another certified open water dive buddy (or a higher certification) to a maximum depth of 130 feet, and supervision by a dive master or instructor is no longer required.

So the real question is…. Don’t you want to be able to execute your own dives with your dive buddy?  At Deep Six we only train “Open Water Divers” giving them a full certification to dive anywhere in the world with their dive buddy.  Why be limited to 40 feet and have to bother to hire a dive professional every time you want to go diving.
