Learn from the Best! It makes a difference where you learn to dive! No one in Akron has been teaching diving longer than our team at Deep Six Specialists, Inc. Our staff of certified scuba instructors has a wealth of experience and expertise to make your diving experience fun and safe!
Our Open Water Scuba Diver Program is designed with you in mind; Fun & exciting with a commitment to safety. We do not offer the shortest or least expensive scuba course. What is offered, is academic time with your instructor and the best in-the water time on scuba. We want all of our students to be not only certified scuba divers but qualified - confident scuba divers.

Phase I Tuition
$449.00 (Subject to change at any time)
Phase I Tuition Includes
NAUI Scuba Diver E-Learning Code, Study Guide, Dive Table, Lectures, Pool Sessions and Digital C Card.
Prerequisites
Ages 15 years and older. Ages 10 - 14 years old can participate and receive a Junior Scuba Certification.
Class Size
4 - 8 students
Deep Six Provides
Cylinder with air, Regulator, Dive Computer, Buoyancy Compensator, Weights and Belt.
Student Provides
Mask, snorkel, fins, boots & gloves. Our staff would be happy to personally educate you on mask, snorkel, fins & boots. This will help you in making a knowledgeable purchase. And as an added bonus when these items are purchased at DEEP SIX SPECIALISTS, Inc. you will receive our “Unlimited Exchange for a Proper Fit” privileges during your pool training.
• Wetsuits: A tropical wetsuit is recommended for your comfort when learning scuba skills
during your pool training. Rentals & purchases are available from Deep Six.
