This course is to provide the training and experience necessary to gain the knowledge and understand the hazards of utilizing helium enriched EANx mixes of 20%-30% oxygen and no more than 35% helium for dives to a maximum depth of 52m (170 ft.) that require staged-decompression, utilizing EANx mixtures and/or oxygen during decompression. Upon successful completion of this course, graduates are considered competent to plan and execute helitrox based dives that may require staged decompression and utilize EANx and/or oxygen for staged decompression without direct supervision.

Two Academic Sessions, NAUI Technical Diver Textbook, Four Local Open Water Dives and NAUI Helitrox Diver Digital Certification Card.

    • 
NAUI Technical Decompression Diver or equivalent. 
    •  50 Logged Dives with 15 Dives on EANx

Mask, Snorkel, Fins, Boots, Gloves, Dive Lights, Surface Marker with Reel, Cutting Tool,  Dive Slate, Bcd, Regulator, Computer, Thermal Protection, Hood & Gloves, Cylinder(s), Dry suit inflation cylinder (if using a dry suit).

Student Rental or Owned Equipment 
Weights, One Stage Cylinder with 100% 02, regulator & gauge.

Additional Expenses  
Rental fees, air / nitrox / Helitrox  fills, quarry fees, charter fees (if applicable), parking fees, travel expenses, lodging and meals.
