Search & Recovery Diver
In this fascinating program, you will learn all the skills you need to safely and confidently conduct search and recovery dives.
During your Search & Recovery Diver course you'll learn about underwater navigation using natural and compass techniques; the problems, methods, equipment, hazards, and safety procedures regarding diving limited visibility, proper search patterns, methods and techniques; and how to handle light salvage or recovery, including lifting, rigging, and knot tying.
The course emphasizes safety, including air management and hazard avoidance. By the end, you'll be equipped to conduct search and recovery dives confidently, enhancing your diving skills and experience.

Prerequisites
Open Water Scuba Diver Certification, Junior Open Water Certification or equivalent

15 years of age. Ages 12-14 will earn a junior advanced certification

Mask, Snorkel, Fins, Boots, and Gloves, Lights (primary & back up), Cutting Tool, Surface Marker & Reel.
Student Rental or Owned Equipment
Regulator, BCd, Computer with Compass, Thermal Protection, Hood, Cylinder(s) and Weights.
Equipment Provided by Deep Six Spec.
Marker Strobe, Training Lines, Floats, Lift Bags, Emergency First Aid and DAN Oxygen Kit.
